# Platform SDK Support Policy

The iOS, Android, and JavaScript SDKs use [Semantic Versioning](https://www.semver.org/). Breaking API changes increment the major version number of the SDK.

Twilio supports SDK version N-1 for 12 months after we release version N. For example, we support version 3.x for 12 months after we release version 4.0.

During this period, we only provide fixes for critical issues in the previous major version. After the 12-month period ends, we no longer support that SDK version.

> \[!NOTE]
>
> To ensure your account has the latest features and bug fixes, we recommend updating your Twilio Video SDKs at least once a quarter.

## Documentation retention policy

Twilio maintains documentation for SDK versions according to the following policy:

* **Current version (N)**: We provide full documentation support.
* **Previous version (N-1)**: We keep documentation available for 24 months after we release version N.
* **Older versions**: We remove documentation after the 24-month retention period.

## Latest platform SDK versions

SDK changelogs document all version updates. You can find the latest SDK versions and any SDK versions we still support in the following changelogs:

* [JavaScript SDK changelog](https://github.com/twilio/twilio-video.js/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md)
* [Android SDK changelog](/docs/video/changelog-twilio-video-android-latest)
* [iOS SDK changelog](/docs/video/changelog-twilio-video-ios-latest)
