Following this strategy, you send a recipient a series of pre-written email messages according to a predetermined schedule. Certain events in the recipient's lifecycle as a customer trigger this schedule. These events include registering for a service or purchasing a product. The campaigns intend to generate or increase customer engagement over a period of time.
