# 30648: Geo Permissions update restricted for subaccounts

## Description

This error occurs when attempting to update Geo Permissions of a subaccount where updates are restricted. Geo Permission updates can only be performed in the parent account.

### Possible causes

The Geo Permissions inheritance is enabled for the subaccount. The subaccount will inherit the Geo Permissions from the parent account, and any attempts to update Geo Permissions in the subaccount will be rejected.

### Possible solutions

Ensure that you are attempting to update the Geo Permissions in the parent account, not in a subaccount where updates are restricted. If you need to update Geo Permissions for a subaccount, you will need to disable the Geo Permissions inheritance in the subaccount settings first.
