# 16106: Voice Recording: Unavailable due to internal encryption error

## Description

Recording was not stored because Twilio encountered a transient internal encryption error while processing the recording. This applies only when call recording encryption is enabled.

### Possible causes

* Voice Recording Encryption was enabled, and Twilio encountered a transient internal encryption error while encrypting the recording.
* The recording failed during the internal encryption step before Twilio could store it.

### Possible solutions

* Retry the call or recording request after a short delay.
* If the error continues, contact Twilio Support.
